Bryan Kohberger is back in court… appearing before a judge for the first time in 2025 – and he looks completely cleaned up.
The suspected murderer of four University of Idaho students appeared in a Boise courtroom Thursday… wearing a full suit and shaved head. Recall that he had a thin beard when his last mugshot was taken in September.
Kohberger appeared serious during the proceedings, watching closely as his lawyers argued with prosecutors about possible key evidence.
As we already told you, a hearing took place yesterday where a lawyer from various media companies asked the court to do this allow more access Reporting – a big issue, considering how much secrecy the proceedings have been so far.
Kohberger was excused from the hearing yesterday by a judge … who said he would decide today which parts of the hearing would be open to the public, even though a key part of the day's proceedings – arguments over the inclusion of DNA evidence – Kohberger's family is connected to this – is being held behind closed doors.

The judge in the case says he wants the media to have access to the proceedings… but adds that he must balance access against Kohberger's right to a fair trial.

If you don't know… the prosecution claims Kohberger snuck into one now demolished outside the campus house and slaughtered four victims – Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen And Kaylee Goncalves – but left his DNA on the sheath of a hunting knife.
Kohberger was arrested in Pennsylvania in late 2022 after driving across the country with his father from Washington state.
Bryan has not appeared in court since November 7th. His trial is scheduled for August 2025.
