Bucks and Wizards Stars exchange equipment while box office exchanges continue to accumulate before the deadline



Milwaukee Bucks have acquired Kyle Kuzma from the Washington Wizards after exchanging veteran Khris Middleton on Wednesday morning.

Shams Charania de ESPN reported that Milwaukee exchanged Middleton, AJ Johnson and an exchange of selection to the Wizards for Kuzma, Patrick Baldwin Jr. and the second round Draft compensation.

Middleton was a key part of the NBA Bucks Championship race in 2021. Meanwhile, Kuzma won his first and only title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.

After being recruited by the Detroit Pistons in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft, Middleton was transferred to Milwaukee in 2013 and has been with the Bucks since then.

The Texas A&M product became an integral role -playing player for Milwaukee, since they jumped to the dispute behind the Giannis Antetokounmpo franchise star. Middleton reached the maximum race in annotations from 2020 to 2022, since the Bucks saw some of their deepest playoff races since they lost to the 76ers in the Eastern Conference Championship of 2001.
