A Champions League supercomputer has revealed the most likely winners of Europe's elite club competition this season.
Liverpool are currently at the top of the league stage standings, having won all seven of their matches so far.
However, according to the supercomputer, Arne Slot's team will not lift the trophy in May.
The verdict is delivered by Bettingexpert's BETSIE supercomputer.
100,000 simulations were carried out, taking into account various factors, such as the results of last season and the current campaign, as well as pre-season expectations and xG obtained before and during the season.
According to the supercomputer, the team that will triumph this season has never won the Champions League before.

As reported by the sunthe supercomputer predicted that Arsenal will win the Champions League this season; Mikel Arteta's team won in 26.3 percent of the simulations.
Meanwhile, Liverpool won in 21.6 percent of the simulations carried out.
Real Madrid is in third place with 9.4 percent and Barcelona is fourth with 8.9 percent.
Fifth place is completed by Bayern Munich, which has a 6.70 percent chance of winning.
Paris Saint-Germain follows with 6.50 percent, while Manchester City is in seventh place with 6.20 percent.
This is despite Pep Guardiola's side facing a battle to keep their Champions League hopes alive ahead of the final league match against Club Brugge on Wednesday.
Inter Milan, Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta are also among the ten most likely winners according to the supercomputer.
Aston Villa are in 11th place and only have a 1.50 per cent chance of winning the trophy.
