- Chris Eubank Jr is in talks for a fight with his bitter rival Conor Benn
- He has attacked Benn and his promoter Eddie Hearn on social media.
Chris Eubank Jr has lashed out at Conor Benn ahead of their potential fight later this year.
Eubank Jr, 35, told Mail Sport over the weekend that he was ready to finally face Benn, 28, and stated that an announcement about his next fight would be made “in the next two weeks”.
But the fight is not yet finalized, and Eubank Jr has now explained the reason for the delay in a furious rant aimed at Benn and his promoter Eddie Hearn on social media.
He wrote on They talk a lot, but when it really comes down to it…just a couple of pussies.
According ESPNEubank Jr's grudge match with Benn is scheduled for April 26 in London.
It is understood the fight would take place at the 160lb middleweight limit with a 170lb rehydration clause.

Eubank Jr criticized Benn and his promoter Eddie Hearn for wanting to insert a rehydration clause into the fight contract.
Eubank Jr has branded Benn and Hearn 'rats' and claimed they are delaying the fight that is taking place.
But Eubank Jr has made it clear that he is not happy with having his weight restricted for the second weigh-in, which would occur on the morning of the fight.
Your complaints could cause a further delay or even cause the fight not to take place.
It didn't take long for Benn to respond when he accused Eubank Jr of ducking his middleweight rivals and claimed his fellow Briton's team had already agreed to the rehydration clause.
Benn replied: 'You're a soft idiot. I'm going up 2 weights to fight you and am I the pussy? 10-pound rehydration because I'm already fighting a middleweight but you want to get in the ring as a light heavyweight? You're afraid of (middleweight champion) Janibek (Alimkhanuly) and (Hamzah) Sheeraz, so I'm your only option, satsuma head.'
He added: “And this is something that you and your team agreed on Saturday, so don't try to understand that this is new.” Stop being a pussy and sign the contract.
Eubank Jr and Benn were due to meet for the first time in October 2022, but the fight was canceled the week of the fight after Benn failed two drug tests.
Benn insisted he was innocent of any wrongdoing, but was provisionally suspended and unable to fight in the UK after giving up his British boxing licence.
His suspension was lifted in November after an independent panel ruled that he was “not comfortably satisfied” that he had been proven to have committed an anti-doping violation.
Benn is now cleared to fight in the UK and finally facing Eubank Jr looked to be his next fight.
However, it appears negotiations have hit a roadblock over whether a rehydration clause will be imposed.
If the fight were called off, Benn would be in line for a welterweight title shot against WBC champion Mario Barrios.
WBC president Mauricio Sulaimán said last month that Benn “deserves” the chance to become champion, despite his previous failed drug tests.
