According to the USCP, officers responded Thursday morning to reports of a vehicle driving on the sidewalk on the grounds in front of the Capitol in Washington, DC. Police detained him and held him while they investigated.
Police closed roads in the area while they checked the car for bombs… and the driver was eventually arrested and charged with reckless driving – video shows officers taking him into custody.
The suspicious activity follows two fatal vehicle incidents… a terrorist attack in New Orleans in which 14 people were killed by a Truck mows down revelers on Bourbon Street.
Hours later, a Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas in a possible terrorist attack. Common sense says something was wrong – an Elon Musk vehicle exploded outside a Trump hotel.
According to Capitol Police, there were no injuries… but with the inauguration approaching, police are on high alert
