Dallas Cowboys legend Dez Bryant criticized the team's decision to promote offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to head coach.
Bryant was far from the only one to criticize the Cowboys landing Schottenheimer, but he did issue a unique four-word rebuke to the organization that made him famous.
Bryant played for Dallas from 2010 to 2017 before a series of injuries led him from being one of the NFL's best to retirement.
“Someone is being sabotaged,” Bryant said on X.
Bryant also added the phrase 'smh,' in light of his endorsement of Colorado head coach and fellow Cowboys legend Deion Sanders for the job.
The hiring of Schottenheimer to replace Mike McCarthy is not inspiring to the Cowboys fan base, as Bryant speaks for more than just himself.

Many have criticized Jerry Jones, 82, for not giving up control of the Cowboys.
“I honestly don't know how to feel right now…” Bryant said. 'I'm trying to understand what Jerry meant when he said he was “all in.” Maybe the coach is good, maybe he isn't, but my energy toward how the Cowboys have been mixing things up doesn't look like a success anytime soon.
'There's no point in me getting angry… I really want to hear Jerry's reason for this. .Saying this is what the players wanted… I will argue that only 1 or 2 players were asked… and it was framed as what the team wanted… Someone in the organization needs to step up and tell Jerry that the old ways of thinking don't exist in this new age…'
Many have criticized Jerry Jones, 82, for not relinquishing control of his team, with most focus on the Cowboys' streak of no playoff success each year.
Jones will see his teams' two biggest rivals, the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles, face off in the NFC Championship Game.
Their former defensive coordinator, Dan Quinn, led the Commanders' resurgence in his first year at the helm in DC.
The Cowboys now own the NFC's longest streak without an appearance in a conference championship game. The hiring of Schottenheimer has given many, including Bryant, confidence that the streak won't end anytime soon.
