Danny Trejo sends a stern message to his celebrity colleagues, including Kim Kardashian -Stop using the Los Angeles wildfires to advance your own causes!!!

From his point of view… helping the victims should be the focus – even if many celebrities like Kim mean well.
He specifically calls out the founder of SKIMs… after she decided to talk about it Inmate firefighters receive low wages as they put their lives at risk.
Danny objects to Kim making this situation “political”… and he points out that the inmates fighting the fires receive other rewards for their service.
Danny – who has worked primarily as a firefighter during his time behind bars – explains that inmates who voluntarily allow themselves to be detained as first responders will have their sentence removed.
Kim's argument is simple: the inmates are “heroes”…they are only paid a dollar an hour to fight the massive fires. That meager amount hasn't changed since 1984…and an agreement to increase it to $5 an hour was shot down just before these fires started. She wants this fixed.
Danny says for these convicted criminals, a reduced sentence is what they care about.
He points out that most of the money inmates make goes toward their reimbursement…so it's unlikely they'll see much of it even if they get more money.

Danny also has a clear message to any would-be arsonists out there: If someone is responsible for one of these monstrous infernos, you can be sure they'll have a hard time behind bars.

He says that they are not only despised, but perhaps hated as much as child molesters… because it is a crime of pure devastation with nothing to gain.
