David Beckham poses for photos with fans while he sees the former PSG team face Liverpool in the Paris Champions League clash

David Beckham posed for photos with fans inside the Princes Parc while watching former Paris Saint-Germain team face Liverpool in the Champions League in the French capital.

The former Manchester United midfielder and Real Madrid, who turns 50 in April, played for the French champions in 2013, making a handful of appearances before retiring.

He was reduced to tears in the countryside when he left the field for the last time in the club, and went on to see Luis Enrique's men face the Premier League leaders on Wednesday.

The draw is the most striking of the round, with two of the teams in the form of Europe that face each other in offers for taking a step closer to the glory of the Champions League, which will go next to the almost defined league titles.

Liverpool has 13 Claro points at the top of the Premier League, while the PSG is ahead of Marseille on the same margin in Ligue 1.

Beckham was seen with a blue striped shirt, a dark blue tie and a brown jacket as he leaned forward to smile for a click with a fan in the crowd.

More to follow.
