David Moyes has revealed his aim to take on another managerial role, but the former Man United and West Ham boss stressed he will only return if the opportunity presents itself.
Moyes is currently out of work after leaving West Ham at the end of last season.
The 61-year-old, who led the Hammers to the Conference League in 2023, has been linked with a number of roles during the season.
If Moyes were to accept another role, it would be his eighth in a managerial career that stretches back to 1998.
Moyes admitted to the BBC that he does not plan to work at a club battling relegation if he returns to management.
“I don't consider myself finished yet, but I'm certainly enjoying some time off,” Moyes told the BBC.

“The only thing I won't do is put pressure on any coach personally, because I don't believe in it. I haven't liked being in that position.
'We're all getting a little older and I have to make sure I do what's right for me.
'If there is another part, so be it. But I just wish it was a good part. I wouldn't want to go in and do something that's too difficult.
“I don't want to be last in the league and fight against relegation, something I've had several times, so we'll see how things go.”
Moyes has managed more than 1,100 games during his career at Preston, Everton, Man United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and two separate spells at West Ham.
The Conference League success marked the pinnacle of Moyes' second spell with the Hammers, which ran from December 2019 to May 2024.
The success saw Moyes bounce back from his disappointing spell as Man United manager after succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson, as well as subsequent difficult roles at Real Sociedad and Sunderland.
Moyes has been included in the New Year Honors list for his services to football, highlighting his achievements in the game.
The Scot has made a total of 697 appearances in the Premier League during his career.
The figure is only surpassed by Arsene Wenger and Ferguson.
