Deshaun Watson dancing TikTok goes viral after Cleveland Browns QB ruptures Achilles tendon again

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson could be in trouble because of a TikTok he shared days before it was revealed that he ruptured his Achilles tendon for the second time in three months.

On December 26, Watson shared a video of him dancing with his girlfriend, Jilly Anais, on the side of a road and does not appear to be wearing a protective boot.

The 29-year-old underwent surgery on October 25 after rupturing his right Achilles tendon for the first time. And on Friday it emerged that he needed a second surgery after breaking it all again.

The Browns did not specify how he managed to do it, only saying that he sprained his ankle in Miami.

After Achilles tendon surgery, people typically wear a protective boot for about 10 weeks.

While it's unclear exactly when Watson filmed the clip she uploaded to TikTok in December, the December 26 upload date is still less than 10 weeks after the surgery.

And he wasn't moving very freely during the 15-second clip, suggesting he was still feeling the impact of the surgery.

It doesn't say where the video was filmed, but Watson captioned it: “Vibes with bae!”

Watson has played 19 times for the Browns since joining them in 2022 on a controversial five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed contract.

The Browns said in a statement that Watson's recovery time is unclear, other than confirming that he will miss “significant time” in the 2025 season.

“MRI results demonstrated a new tear in his Achilles tendon,” the franchise said. 'Dr. Bob Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina, performed both surgeries.

The Browns have the second pick in 2025 and are now almost certain to select a quarterback.

It could mean Watson fights to regain his starting spot when he eventually recovers and where he goes from there, given his form before injury, is wide open.
