DJ Unk's cause of death revealed

DJ UnkThe cause of death was unveiled … The Atlanta rapper died of a heart attack … TMZ found out.

Unks wife, Sherkita Long-Platt TMZ tells that he died on January 24 after a cardiac arrest in his sleep. She says the family is aware of various rumors how he died … and she wants people to know the truth. She tells us that speculation that he died of drugs is not true because he has not taken any drugs.

Today we have a vigil's guard of candlelight in his Atlanta district today.

As we reported … Sherkita the news of his death shared Write on Facebook on Friday … “Please respect me and my family. I just lost my husband and children. Our life will never be the same. I love you forever.”

He started at the end of the nineties and finally formed DJs in a southern style DJ Montay And DJ jelly. Unk was signed at Big Oomp Records in 2000.

In 2009 he had to do with non -specified health problems that influenced his career. He published a few more singles in the following years.

He was only 43.
