Donald Trump and Melania
Get started…
Board Air Force One for visits to North Carolina, California

president Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are already getting back into the swing of things… and boarding Air Force One for the first time since 2021.
Check it out… Trump and his wife appeared ready to get to work as they were seen leaving the White House ahead of 47's planned visits to North Carolina and California on Friday.
For the flight on Marine One, the helicopter that took them to AF1, Trump was dressed casually for his eventful day: He wore a long black trench coat, jeans and a dark zip-up.
Notably, he ditched his signature red MAGA hat in favor of the “Never Surrender” version of his merchandise…which features the same slogan in gold lettering on a black baseball cap.
The Trumps will stop in North Carolina to survey recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene, then travel to California, where wildfires have devastated the Los Angeles area… It's safe to assume he'll be more serious about the occasion wanted to dress.
Melania seemed to match her husband's simple ensemble…as she too wore dark, neutral clothing and accessories.

The president and first lady clearly mean business… Trump addressed reporters outside the White House and criticized Los Angeles over water problems at the start of the Pacific Palisades wildfire.
Trump is expected to meet with the mayor of LA Karen Bass and Governor of California Gavin Newsom later today… although tensions could be high following this criticism.
