President Trump sent a congratulatory message to the Kansas City Chiefs after they beat the Buffalo Bills to reach the Super Bowl.
Patrick Mahomes and his team are now on the verge of history, with one victory in New Orleans enough to make it the first time for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl era to win three consecutive titles.
And it looks like they will have the support of the White House against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump said: 'Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs. What a great team, coach, quarterback, and pretty much everything else, including those fantastic fans, who voted for me (MAGA!) in record numbers.
'Likewise, congratulations to the Buffalo Bills for a tremendous season. They will make a lot of winners in the future!
The Chiefs beat the Bills 32-29 in Arrowhead on Sunday night in a thrilling AFC championship matchup.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are shown celebrating after the Chiefs beat the Bills on Sunday
Trump was publicly endorsed by Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker and long snapper James Winchester before the election.
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick, also endorsed Trump and the Republican Party before the election in November, a stance that put her at odds with friend Taylor Swift, who is dating the tight end of the Chiefs Travis Kelce.
Swift came out and publicly endorsed Kamala Harris, slamming Trump's running mate JD Vance in the process.
Swift signed her post as a “childless cat lady” in reference to Vance describing several Democrats, including Harris, as “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable in their own lives.”
But with Swift and now Trump cheering the Chiefs' arrival at next month's Super Bowl, perhaps football is a power to bridge political divides.
