President-elect Donald TrumpThe verdict in his hush money trial in New York will come down after all… just 10 days before he returns to the White House.
In a stunning twist on Friday, Judge Juan Mercan Trump's sentencing is scheduled for January 10th, but all indications are that Trump will NOT be thrown behind bars.
Merchan's written decision, obtained by TMZ, indicates that he will sentence Trump to what is known as a conditional discharge … meaning Trump's case would be dismissed unless he is arrested again.
Trump tried to overturn his conviction and the entire case was thrown out of court … claiming he enjoyed presidential immunity after his re-election … but, Merchan said, there was “no legal bar” to conviction.
As you know, Trump did it convicted of 34 crimes According to prosecutors, he falsified business records to cover up hush money payments to a porn star Stormy Daniels.
Trump could face up to four years in prison, but again, it seems like the judge won't go that route… considering January 20, Inauguration Day, is coming up.

It's unclear whether Trump will appear in person at a New York courthouse next Friday… Merchan says Trump could appear in person or virtually, and Trump has until Sunday to tell the court of his plans.
The conviction will mark another crazy week for Trump – Monday is the fourth anniversary of the January 6 insurrection and it is also the day Trump's 2024 election victory will be confirmed.
Buckle up for a week of protests!!!
