AJ Brown was seen on Fox cameras reading a book on the sidelines between games during Sunday's win over the Green Bay Packers, leaving fans baffled by his decision.
Brown didn't have a great game by any means, with just one catch for 10 yards.
However, it wasn't frustration that led him to start reading while the Eagles defense was on the field.
Brown said he brings Jim Murphy's 'Inner Excellence' book to every game. After the victory, the recipient showed his copy of the novel, with passages highlighted and underlined.
The book had also suffered a lot of wear and tear, proving that Brown's story is true.
“It gives me a sense of peace,” Brown said of reading the book during games. “That's a book I take to every game.”

Whatever happens, 'Inner Excellence' will return to the sidelines of Lincoln Financial Field.
