- Galatasaray recently made queries about Newcastle about Kieran Trippier
- The Turkish Clubs Transfer Window will close next week on February 11
- Listen now: Everything is starting! Does Premier League really need to look at goal celebrations?
Eddie Howe says any part of him wants to lose Kieran Trippier and has the hope that the defender will remain in the club this season.
The Turkish side Galatasaray has an interest in the 34 -year -old man and, with his transfer window not closed until February 11, there is still a possibility of a renewed approach.
It is believed that Newcastle avoided Galatasaray's consultations last weekend, and Howe is inflexible that he is not going anywhere.
“No part of us wanted to lose Kieran (in January),” said Howe.
'It is unique, there is no one to do: game delivery, approval capacity and their general leadership in unique.
'The leadership of the old school where you are speaking and communicating with everyone, thinking about the whole team instead of yourself, is now almost a dying art.

“He is someone who is definitely we hope to stay and have a great impact on the second half of the season.”
Trippier made only his eighth beginning of the season during the semifinal victory of Wednesday's Carabao Cup over Arsenal and was outstanding.
“Kieran showed all his skills in that game,” said Howe. 'His experience was vital. It is a really soothing influence on the team, but also a great voice.
'He has had a difficult season, and not so much in the field. He has had a couple of physical conditioning problems that simply stopped their progress.
'Playing and acting in high -level games is a real ability and is not easy to do. He has been able to do it consistently for us.
'He entered against Arsenal and thought he was magnificent. Tino Livramento has had a very good season and, obviously, Emil Kraft can play at the beginning, so there is real competition for places. We love the players we have. But Kieran is unique.
'Physically now, for six weeks, it has been really good. That will be key to how he plays in the second half of the season.
Meanwhile, Howe says Callum Wilson could still have a future at St James' Park beyond the end of this season, when his contract expires.

The 32 -year -old striker has not yet started a game this season, but returned from an absence of two months against Arsenal, and Howe said: 'He would never write to Callum Wilson. If you can keep fit, it is an excellent front center.
'He has the experience that we would need in that position, the knowledge of how we play, the rhythm, the force, a scorer.
'We could not recruit anyone near their level, I don't think, who would have been ready to play in this window.
'The key is to try to keep it fit. That is what Callum wants, that is what we want and the crossed fingers can make it happen. ''
