Erling Haaland has reportedly signed a staggering nine-and-a-half-year contract with Manchester City, which will commit him to the club until 2034.
According to the Athletic, Haaland's contract extension removes all previous release clauses in the star's deal.
Haaland's new contract is reportedly one of the most lucrative sports contracts of all time.
The Norwegian striker would be 34 years old when his new contract expires.
Haaland's existing deal was due to expire in the summer of 2027.
The extra time will be a big boost for Manchester City in the midst of a difficult season for the reigning Premier League champions, who currently sit sixth in the table, 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.
Despite Manchester City's struggles, Haaland has maintained his impressive goalscoring form, having scored 16 goals in 21 top-flight appearances this season.
Only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has scored more in the Premier League this season with 18.
Haaland has scored 111 goals in 126 appearances for Man City in all competitions since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022.
The 24-year-old was earning a basic salary of £375,000 each week on his current contract.
Mail Sport understands that while Haaland receives a basic salary that is in line with other higher-earning workers at the Etihad Stadium, a series of substantial, almost guaranteed bonuses have seen his weekly salary exceed £850,000.
