Everton are considering signing Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah, who they were offered last summer.
The 21-year-old has also attracted interest from Fulham, who Mail Sport reported earlier this season saw a move fall through in the 11th hour while the player was undergoing a medical last summer.
Nuamah's route from Ghana to Europe was a familiar one, joining Nordsjaelland in Denmark thanks to her association with the Right to Dream Academy in her home country.
He then made his Lyon debut in the 2023-24 season after joining the French giants in 2024 following a brief spell with Belgian side RWD Molenbeek.
Nuamah has predominantly played as a right winger, but is also capable of playing on the left or even in the centre.
However, it has not been the most prolific season for the striker, who has only managed one goal in 17 appearances in all competitions.

David Moyes' side need attacking signings after struggling to score goals this season
Everton need goals, with the Toffees in 16th place and just one point above relegation.
They have only scored 15 goals in the Premier League this season, with Southampton (bottom with six points) being the only team with fewer (12).
Goodison Park welcomed David Moyes back after almost 12 years, replacing Sean Dyche who had been sacked in midweek following the club's poor form.
After beating Peterborough in the FA Cup third round, Everton will be next in action on Wednesday when they host Aston Villa in the league.
