A Manchester City fan that caused more than £ 10,000 in damages to a police car while celebrating the historic triumph of the Club Champions League has been imprisoned.
Leon Blacktt, 22, from Craigmore Avenue, Manchester, was sentenced to 44 months in prison, including a three -month mandate for the crime related to football. He received additional 41 months for possession of an article with loop and a crime of communications related to the domestic level.
The incident that involved the police vehicle occurred in Manchester after the city's 1-0 victory over Inter Milan in Istanbul in June 2023.
That famous Victoria, who was courtesy of a 68-minute goal from Rodri, said the first title of the City Champions League and completed an impressive sharp since the Pep Guardiola team also won the Premier League and FA Cup in the 2022-23 season.

However, the celebrations took a destructive turn when Blacktt, along with others, got into a police vehicle and began to jump on it, causing irreparable damage. The vehicle had to be discarded, which led to a police investigation.

Social networks and CCTV images were used to identify those responsible, and Blacktt was arrested in October 2023, when he admitted the crime.
Together with his prison sentence, he was given a seven -year -old football prohibition order, preventing him from attending matches.
PC Matt Ford of the Specialist Operations Planning Unit of Greater Manchester condemned Blacktt's behavior, stating: 'Blacktt's actions following the historic final victory of the Manchester City Champions League were completely unacceptable.
'He and the others who were trapped by the camera, either through our images used in the body, social networks or CCTV videos have been treated robust.
“Fines, soccer prohibition orders and unpaid work hours have been delivered to some, and Blacktt received prison time for his actions, because he fulfilled a suspended sentence while committing the crime in the city center after the result.”
Ford also issued a warning to any fan that participates in criminal behavior, adding: “This is a timely reminder for those who commit crimes while football follow in another country, we will seek prosecutions for unacceptable behavior.”
Since he won the Champions League in 2023, City has failed to progress beyond the quarterfinals of the best clubs in Europe.
His defense of the title was completed by a defeat by penalty at the hands of Real Madrid after a 4-4 draw on two legs in the round of eight last season.
Madrid knocked out City again this season when 6-3 prevailed together in the Play-Off round.
