An alarming post by Kyren Lacy resurfaced amid the negligent homicide charge against the top NFL prospect.
According to WAFB, Louisiana State Police issued an arrest warrant for the former LSU Tiger. Lacy is wanted on charges of negligent homicide and felony hit and run.
Police documents state that Lacy “recklessly passed several vehicles at a high rate of speed” on December 17. His driving allegedly forced two vehicles in a northbound lane to swerve away from him before one of them collided head-on with a southbound car.
Despite the accident, Lacy reportedly left without informing authorities.
As more information about the incident continued to emerge, fans discovered a concerning tweet from Lacy in 2023.
In the post, he wrote: “I'm going to kill everyone lining up in front of me…”

While no one knows what the recipient was referring to or quoting in the tweet, fans felt uncomfortable given the circumstances.
Police documents say, “After the accident, Lacy drove around the scene of the accident and fled south on LA Hwy 20 without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the accident.”
One of the passengers involved, Herman Hall, was seriously injured and died after being taken to hospital. The 78-year-old was later revealed to be a former US Marine.
Just two days after the accident, Lacy declared for the NFL Draft.

Before joining the LSU Tigers, Lacy spent two seasons with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. He had 162 receptions for 2,360 yards and 26 touchdowns in his college career.
