Eagle-eyed spectators saw Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund furious with Amad Diallo during his team's dismal 2-0 defeat to Wolves on Boxing Day.
Goals from Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan led to Ruben Amorim's fifth defeat in just his tenth game in charge of the Red Devils at Molineux.
Captain Bruno Fernandes was also sacked after picking up two yellow cards on a night that saw United drop to 14th place, just eight points above the relegation zone.
The poor run of form is likely to have taken a toll on the club's morale and Amorim's players were unable to hide their frustration during long periods of the match.
But one incident in particular caught the fans' attention during the first half.
Striker Hojlund was seen losing his cool with Diallo after the striker squandered a chance, having received a long ball before firing his shot straight at a defender.

Rasmus Hojlund was seen furious with Amad Diallo during Manchester United's defeat to Wolves.
Diallo chose to shoot rather than pass to his teammate during the first half at Molineux
Hojlund, situated to the left of his teammate and just outside the penalty area, jumped into the air in a tantrum and protested angrily with his arms.
The moment proved costly for a forceful United team, with Cunha breaking the deadlock just before the hour after his corner went over the head of André Onana.
United fans criticized the 21-year-old for his role in the row with Diallo, branding him “entitled” and “whiny” and declaring they had lost patience with him.
“This Hojlund guy is so unbearable,” said one X user. 'Amad has every right to shoot there and the man keeps moaning. “You can't even hold the ball properly.”
“His position is the worst I've seen from any striker,” added another.
A third wrote: “Hojlund runs and starts fighting the defender instead of passing the pass…then wants to get angry when Amad decides not to pass him.”
A fourth said: “Hojlund has to stop complaining and crying every time Amad doesn't pass away.”
“No Hojlund acts like a whiny three-year-old when Amad doesn't pass and then the next time he gets the ball he instantly loses it,” wrote a fifth.
The striker was hooked after not being able to take a single shot on goal on a disastrous afternoon
Social media users criticized Hojlund for his role in the latest fight with Diallo.
Hojlund and Diallo were also involved in a fight after United's victory against Viktoria Plzen.
“I've lost patience with this guy.”
After taking just 14 touches of the ball and failing to register a shot on goal, Hojlund was hooked by Amorim and replaced by Joshua Zirkzee.
Hojlund and Diallo were also involved in an on-field dispute after United's 2-1 win over Viktoria Plzen earlier this month, although Amorim insisted the dispute was “healthy”.
The leader was denied the chance to complete his hat-trick in stoppage time when Diallo opted to go alone rather than cross. Then, moments later, Hojlund opted not to pass the ball to the winger, sparking an argument at the final whistle.
“Yes (I knew it), and for me it's perfect,” Amorim later said.
'Right now we need to feel something. If we have to fight among ourselves, it's like a family. For me it is a very good sign. “We need to feel something and that's important.”
Then he added: “When you don't care, you don't do anything.” When you care, you fight with your brother, with your father, with your mother. For me it is a very good sign.
'It's something normal. “I think it's a positive thing, a healthy thing, so I let the players and the captain calm things down.”
