Tottenham fans managed to see the fun side of one of the worst free kick routines in their 1-0 defeat of Az Alkmaar in the Europa League.
The Londoners of northern London were beaten in the first leg of their latest draw on the Dutch side, courtesy of a goal of Lucas Bergvall in the first half, in the last blow to Ang Postecoglou and Co.
It was an exhibition largely without teeth of the Spurs, which now has everything to do in the second section to revive their hope hopes of the Champions League.
However, chasing the game, the Spurs had a great opportunity to return to the level with a free kick on the edge of the box.
James Maddison stood on the ball and made as if he had a crack in the goal before playing a short pass disguised for Captain Heung-min.
But the return pass of the South Korean icon was hit too heavy and ended behind Maddison in hurry.

The tight piece of the set encapsulated Tottenham's performance against Az Alkmaar

The team in northern London traveled home knowing that everything has to do in the return accessory
The setback of the England's international were played out of balance and, therefore, behind his teammate, leaving the patron of the Spurs in the sea, with three defenders of Az closing it.
They are then passes to Kevin Danso while the Spurs seek to resurrect the opportunity with the numbers in the painting already for the piece, but the ball of the center of the back in the danger area is exaggerated and drips offside.
It was a disappointment for Dutch hosts, but a movement that largely encapsulated the performance of the Spurs in a disappointing European night.
As such, it caused the anger of several fans on social networks, although they could laugh at the unfortunate set.
A fan wrote: “I have to be the most imaginable free kick in Tottenham.”
Another echoed the feeling: “That free kick was Tottenham's thing I've seen.”
A third published a photo of a dart board surrounded by darts, none of which had managed to land on the board.
And a room joked: “I can't believe that this is not really generated by AI.”

The defeat of Az was the last of a series of disappointing setbacks this season for the Spurs.
It is the last disappointing result in a season of setbacks for the Spurs, who have fought with stripes of injuries throughout the campaign.
As a result, they have been unable to build any type of impulse and form, which unfortunately has impacted its campaign, with the postecoglou side in 13th, tied in 33 points with the 14th man 14 United and West Ham in 15.
It was a completely disappointing performance, especially since this competition remains the last hope of the covered club this term, and they have work to do to change the tie in the second leg in northern London.
“We will analyze it and take a look at the areas we fight with, but it is fair to say that it was not close to the level it should be,” said Postecoglou.
'It was not great for us tonight. Almost all facets of the game. We couldn't really face any part of the game. We struggled to win an impulse with the ball, we were not as aggressive as we needed without the ball.
'I don't think it's a matter of effort or attitude. I do not think it comes out and does not try, but, as I said, we did not really get in danger and we had the right mentality to face an element remote in Europe.
'It is always difficult and obviously grant the objective, which was a disappointing set of events, but even after that we did not settle in the game at all.
“You are going to face some pressure when you play away from home in Europe and capable the storm and face yourself, but we never did, that was a disappointment.”
