The FBI looked into it Ben Affleck Over the weekend, we got pictures from agents at the actor's LA home … but he had no trouble with the law … TMZ has learned.
FBI agents, along with LA County sheriff's deputies, descended on the Brentwood neighborhood where Ben now lives after recently divorcing his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.
Check out photos from TMZ that show two FBI agents standing at the gate of Ben's house and two sheriff's deputies walking away from it.
We're told police officers in the area were investigating an incident in which a private drone collided with and damaged a firefighting aircraft. The “super scooper” aircraft helped firefighters fight wildfires that have claimed 24 lives and destroyed thousands of homes in the LA area.
It's unclear if FBI agents have contacted Ben…but we've reached out to his representatives for comment…no response yet.
However, according to our sources, Ben was not the target of the investigation, so from a legal perspective he has nothing to worry about. Still, Ben's home is near the border of the Pacific Palisades, which was hit hardest by the fires, so he still has safety concerns.
You may remember… last week when the fires broke out, Ben was there photographed during evacuation He left his home and appeared shocked as he looked at the flames from his car. He then drove to his ex-wife's house. Jennifer Garnerwho lives nearby with her three children to make sure they are okay.
On Saturday, Ben was pictured hugging his daughter Violetwho stopped by her father's house in Brentwood with Jennifer to see how he was doing.
