Florida authorities have arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing another woman more than a dozen times… and police believe the stabbing could be more than the tip the victim received gave to the delivery guy for his pizza and wings order.
Police arrested Brianna Alvelo including attempted murder and kidnapping – after they were allegedly called to a motel on Sunday and found there Melinda Irizarrywho suffered 14 stab wounds.
After Melinda was released from surgery, she told officers that a woman had stopped by to drop off a delivery order for a pizza place about an hour before the stabbing.
Melinda says the meal cost $33.10…but when she handed the delivery woman $50, Melinda claims the woman was trying to get away with the whole thing. Melinda explains she called the woman back and asked for change – and was told the store didn't make change.
Irizarry says she then searched both her purses and car for smaller bills and eventually handed over enough money for the bill and a $2 tip.
About an hour later, Melinda says she is her boyfriend Bobby and her daughter were in the hotel room when they heard a loud knock on the door… and two people burst in, one with a gun in his hand and ordered Bobby to go to the bathroom and close the door.
While Melinda says the woman was going through her purse, she turned to shield her daughter from harm… and said she was stabbed for the first time. She claims she was then stabbed multiple times before the two attackers ran away with several items.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office They reportedly used security footage to nab a pizzeria employee they believe is responsible for the alleged attack.
