Kellie Finlayson has shared a stimulating update while continuing her battle against cancer in her third year.
Diagnosed with intestine cancer in stage 4 with only 25 years, Finlayson, whose husband Jeremy plays for Port Adelaide, has faced significant challenges, but is still hopeful and determined.
In a recent Instagram publication, Finlayson shared a moving and positive update with his followers.
In the video, he hit his fists with the camera and danced with her with his back to the camera, subtitling “Oncology Ward hate seeing me coming.”
She continued sharing: “I on my way to discover that the results of my scan were elite”, followed by “still an incredibly long path ahead, but progress is progress.”

At that time, Kellie marked three years of life with cancer by publishing a moving assembly and sometimes a heartbreaking of her experience as a young mother who fought against the disease.
The Instagram publication presented raw images behind the scene of its battle, including moments of using adult diapers, dealing with hair loss and supporting numerous medical procedures.
In the title, Finlayson wrote: '3 years. 3 whole years of FKN, 'accompanied by an emoji that cries, expressing the emotional cost of its ongoing struggle.
Initially it was diagnosed with intestine cancer in stage 4, a diagnosis considered terminal, with only a survival rate of 14 percent.
Finlayson had experienced symptoms of discomfort in the stomach since the age of 23, but initially he was told that it was nothing to worry about.
After the birth of his daughter Sophie, Finlayson found that her symptoms persisted, and a colonoscopy led her devastating diagnosis.
Finlayson, who was pregnant at that time, could not proceed with his initial tests and had to concentrate on his growing family.
His cancer diagnosis was a shock, and felt angry and confused.
Kellie has been a photo of balance and grace through her battle, but has also been open to share her vulnerable moments.

Despite the challenges, Finlayson went through treatment and surgeries, and after a year, his cancer entered into remission.
However, in 2022, Finlayson was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and the scanning in July of the following year showed that the tumor had become unstable.

Finlayson revealed that, although he looks healthy, he still undergoes chemotherapy and finds it difficult for others to believe that he is “literally badly.”
