- Lyon was not impressed with SCG facilities
- The football legend has requested urgent changes
Fox Footy analyst Garry Lyon has criticized the facilities with which his comments team had to deal with the Sydney Crick Ground in the first game of the AFL season on Thursday night while complaining that rival Network Seven received a much better treatment.
As part of the AFL transmission agreement, Seven and Fox had separate teams that called Sydney vs Hawthorn Showdown last week, with the TV Pay attire now with their own people who call exclusive for each game of the season.
Lyon says the transmission conditions were deficient for the Fox Footy team.
“I'm not sure whether I should launch this or not,” Lyon said in Sen.
'All I will say is this: if you are going to put your hand for billions of dollars of a station of which one pays more than the other, and it is a new configuration with the two stations, but you have six months prepare, so a broadcaster, in this case, seven, has the original transmission configuration.
“Then it is responsible for providing a transmission configuration for the other that is considered adequate.”

Seven and Fox Footy now have individual teams that call football as part of the new AFL agreement, and tensions are already bubbling the surface
Lyon requested improvements in SCG transmission facilities as soon as possible.
“The one that provided us … two by three meters, we were separated from our people they call,” he said.
'So you have this small stinky hot box, just enough space to put your computer on the table.
“I could continue for this for another 10 minutes … but if Sydney wants big games, big Friday and Thursday night games guess what is now getting a large wedge of money.”
Meanwhile, Footy fans criticized the great score of Fox Footy markers during the game.
Footy Bailey Smith star shared her anger for the graph with her followers on social networks.
“Take out this shit from my TV,” he published along with a photo of his television screen.

He surrounded the big graph and asked: “Why is it so big?”
Smith then shared another image to indicate that he was now watching live coverage on Channel 7.
The Suns coach, Damien Hardwick, also criticized the graph.
“I'm sorry … I couldn't see the highlight since I was under the giant score and the photos of the commentators,” he tweeted.
