A former Premier League star could be online to become the new Blackburn manager.
The managerial position in the club is now vacant after the surprising news that John Eustace had left Derby County with a decline last week.
Blackburn expressed his disappointment for Eustace's decision, but understood his desire to approach his family and join a club for which he played previously.
The interim boss David Lowe has supervised the 2-0 victories over West Brom and Plymouth since Eustace jumped the ship, but the club is working on a permanent replacement.
And the former Arsenal midfielder, Luis Boa Morte, is in the race to take charge, according to the sun.
The report states that the 47 -year -old has conversations with Ewood Park Chiefs in the near future.

Boa Morte is currently manager of the National Team of Guinea-Bissau, after having taken the job in March after three years like the No 2 Marco Silva in Fulham.
The former International of Portugal played for artists such as Arsenal, Southampton and West Ham United and Fulham, scoring 29 goals in 295 appearances in the Premier League.
He won 28 international caps with Portugal, particularly representing the team in the 2006 World Cup, where he made only one appearance.
During his career as a player, he also won the Premier League and the FA Cup with Arsenal, playing for the gunners between 1997 and 1999 before moving on to play for Southampton.
After hanging his boots in 2013, the 46 -year -old had enjoyed spells working as an assistant coach in Everton and MacCabi Haifa, while embarking on exploration papers with Arsenal.
His only previous management experience was with Sintrense, where he took charge of the Portuguese team of the fourth division for several months in 2017.
He is not the only former high -flight player who is considered with George Boateng another potential candidate. The legend of Liverpool Steven Gerrard is another name in the mixture, while the Chief of the Wolves, Garry O'Neil, is the favorite of the betting corridors.
