Former MLB pitcher Juan Jaime tragically passed away at the age of 37 after suffering a heart attack, according to reports.
Jaime enjoyed two seasons with the Atlanta Braves in 2014 and 2015, making a total of 18 appearances during those campaigns.
However, according to Héctor Gómez, an MLB expert, through illustrated sportsThe Dominican has died after a fatal heart attack.
Jaime's career began when he signed as an amateur free agent with the Washington Nationals in 2007.
He pitched for their rookie-level Dominican Summer League team that year, before spending a brief time with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.
The right-hander signed with the Braves in August of that year, where he struck out 19 batters and walked 13 after facing 70.
Jaime finished his MLB career with a 5.93 ERA and a plus FIP of 4.38.
