Officials from the Santa Fe district announced that the actor Gene Hackman died of heart diseases with Alzheimer's as a factor and that his wife Betsy Arakawa died of Hantavirus.
The 95 -year -old Hackman probably died a few days after his wife, the New Mexico Medical Investigator's Office, announced during a press conference on Friday. According to health researchers, the factors for the death of Arakawa (65) are assigned to the rodents.
Santa Fe Fe County officials, the fire brigade and the New Mexico Office of the medical investigator competed in the press conference.
The 95 -year -old Hackman and the 65 -year -old Arakawa were probably dead for several days when their bodies were discovered on February 26 in their house in Santa Fe. According to Sheriff Adan Mendoza, Sheriff Adan Mendoza, Hackman's pacemaker was active until February 17th.

The MPs of the Santa Fe County Sheriff reacted to the house and discovered the body of Arakawa in a bathroom with prescription pills that were scattered on a worktop nearby. Hackman's body was found in another room, according to an affidavit of the search command, which was submitted to the district court in Santa Fe County. Both bodies showed signs that they had fallen abruptly and were partially decomposed.
The authorities found no signs of forced entry into the property or a blunt force trauma on the couple's body.
One of the couples' dogs was found dead in a closet near Arakawa's body, and two other dogs found on the property were able to enter and leave the house through a door behind the residence.
The couple's bodies were discovered by maintenance workers in the Santa Fe Summit Housing Community, in which Hackman and Arakawa led private life, the authorities said. They told the investigators that they had not spoken to the couple for more than two weeks.
On Sunday, Hackman was reminded of actor Morgan Freeman at the Academy Awards ceremony. The two were played in the films “unforgives” and “Under distrust”.
“Like everyone who ever shared a scene with him, I learned that he was a generous artist whose gifts increased the work of everyone,” said Freeman. “He received two Oscars, but above all he won the hearts of film lovers around the world.”
