Gianfranco Zola has appointed his best teammates XI, and included three former Chelsea players.

Zola is a great blues of all time, after having illuminated the Premier League during his game days as one of the brightest imports of English football.

During his seven years in Stamford Bridge, he scored 80 goals and provided 42 assists in 312 appearances, and the Italian came out only one year before the great acquisition of money from Roman Abramovich.

Before joining Chelsea in 1996, Zola played along with some of the most important names of the game while in Napoli and Parma, as well as in the Italian national team.

The 58-year-old was a guest of study for SKY's sports coverage of Chelsea's 2-1 victory over West Ham, and was asked to appoint his best teammates.

In the goal, Zola opted for the legendary Gianluigi Buffon after having played with him from 1995 to 1997. Lilian Thuram Thuram assumed the right place despite the fact that the couple played together for only four months in 1997.

Franco Baresi, who captained Italy in the 1994 World Cup, was also named in the XI of Zola.

Chelsea's legend was full of compliments for the center-stands, saying: 'Franco was a mixture, very intelligent, unpleasant, fast, tactically that it was at a different level.

'I was always in the right position at the right time. Great leader, he didn't speak too much. He was a silence of silence, but he was always doing the right things. When Franco did something, everyone was following.

Zola also found space for John Terry on his side even though he was a young defender at that time, with Paolo Maldini taking the left place.

The Blues Wise blues legend was also included by Zola, who said: 'I put Dennis because in those years in Chelsea it was impressive.

“Not only with what I used to do in the field, but was also influential with all players, keeping all together, especially the English group with the foreign group.”

Wise is upset in the midfield by his companions of Chelsea Frank Lampard and Roberto Di Matteo, who played with Zola both internationally and internationally.
