Hailee Steinfeld praised the Bills mob for a kind-hearted gesture toward her and quarterback Josh Allen.
On November 22, Allen, 28, proposed to the 27-year-old actress, a milestone they posted on Instagram days later.
Since his fiancée was a beloved figure in Buffalo, fans congratulated the couple with a sign atop one of the city's buildings that read, “The Queen City has a new queen.”
“Congratulations, Josh and Hailee,” it continued at the bottom.
The poster also featured a Queen card on the left, supposedly representing Steinfeld, and another card on the left with the number 17 and a caricature of Allen wearing his Bills helmet.
In his Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld expressed his gratitude to fans for the gift.

'This was a wild and very sweet surprise. Thank you Delaware North and Buffalo. I feel honoured.'
Allen and the Bills will face fellow MVP candidate Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens after beating the Denver Broncos, 31-7, in the wild-card round. The quarterback completed 20 of 26 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
Buffalo finished the season atop the AFC East with a 13-4 record.
In his seventh season playing at Upstate, Allen has been on a roll with 307 completions for 483 attempts, 3,731 yards and 28 touchdowns.
He also ran for 531 yards and 12 touchdowns on 102 carries.
Steinfeld and Allen began dating in the spring of 2023, before their engagement last year.
