The Houston Texans head to Kansas City this weekend with concerns about star running back Joe Mixon after he was listed as questionable for Thursday's game.
The Texans will enter the lion's den on Saturday as they try to end the Chiefs' hopes of an unprecedented third Super Bowl at Arrowhead Stadium.
But Mixon did not practice with his team Thursday because of an ankle issue, and the team listed him as questionable for the game.
Azeez Al-Shaair is also doubtful and was limited in training with a knee problem.
The Texans are also without key receiver Tank Dell, who suffered a knee injury so serious in the regular-season game at Arrowhead in December that he will miss all of 2025.
Dell underwent the first of what are expected to be multiple surgeries to repair his knee earlier this week in what will be a long road back.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are virtually back to full health after a bye week to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Jaylen Watson was listed as questionable Thursday with an ankle issue and Mecole Hardman is also questionable with a knee injury.
But otherwise, the Chiefs appear to be heading in the right direction as they step up their bid for a third straight Super Bowl title.
The winner of Texans vs Chiefs will face whoever emerges victorious from the weekend's featured game between the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills for a spot in the Super Bowl.
In the NFC, the Washington Commanders travel to Detroit to play the Lions.
On the other hand, the Philadelphia Eagles host the Los Angeles Rams in a game that could be affected by snow.
