Francesco Totti's ex-wife is set to return to Netflix for the second season of her behind-the-scenes documentary, and viewers are hoping for more revelations about their relationship.
Described as Italy's answer to Posh and Becks, Totti and Ilary Blasi married in 2005 on national television and had three children together.
They established themselves as one of Italy's most popular couples, meeting in 2001 and being married for 17 years.
The couple separated in 2022 and, although the separation initially seemed to develop amicably, their divorce proceedings became increasingly bitter.
Blasi, a television presenter and former Italian model, was accused by Totti of being unfaithful.
She responded to the claims in a Netflix documentary titled 'Unica,' which premiered in 2023 and quickly became a hit on the streaming service.

The marriage deteriorated after Blasi hired a private investigator to track down her husband because she believed he was being unfaithful.
In 'Única' it is explained how Blasi found out about the relationship between Totti and his new girlfriend Noemí Bocchi.
It turned out that Blasi found out about their relationship through a play date that his daughter Isabel had had. They would separate shortly after.
Roma legend Totti, who scored 307 goals in 785 appearances for the club, denied Blasi's claims.

The couple were the Posh and Becks of Italy, and their messy divorce aired on Netflix.
“It is not true that I was the first to betray,” Totti said.

Totti had also stated that Blasi did not support him after his retirement from football and when his father died from Covid-19.
He also suggested Blasi had affected his mental health after alleging she had cheated on him.

'I had never done it in 20 years, nor had she ever done it with me. But when I received warnings from different people I trust, I became suspicious,” he said, adding that he was “not the first to cheat” in marriage.
Blasi later claimed that a message about a meeting at a hotel was intended for a private investigator, whom she had hired to follow her husband. Totti had also accused Blasi of having microphones and GPS installed in his car.
Blasi had suggested that Totti had been looking for an escape from his marriage and had accused him of cheating on multiple occasions.
Totti reportedly began dating Noemí Bocchi shortly after his relationship with Blasi broke down.
