A teenage basketball player knocked out two of his opponents with vicious haymakers during a game earlier this month… and the blows were so violent that TMZ Sports has learned that police are now investigating the situation.
The competition concluded at around 6 p.m. in Georgia on January 3rd when Sonoraville High School took on Rockmart in Calhoun.
With a little less than half of the slope remaining, a Rockmart player could be seen on video pushing a Sonoraville athlete to the ground. Seconds later, after the boy got up from the jab, the Rockmart player shoved him back to the hardwood with a massive right hand.
When another Sonoraville player rushed to defend his teammate, he was also bulldozed with a large right by the Rockmart player.
Luckily, bystanders intervened before things got even more physical.
According to a Gordon County Sheriff's Office incident report we obtained, the 16-year-old's violent outburst began because his opponent “repeatedly called him the N-word and he lost his temper.”
The report does not indicate whether the boy admitted to using racist language. We reached out to Sonoraville High for comment but have not yet heard back.
The thug now faces two simple battery charges, police documents state.
Rockmart has not yet publicly addressed the situation.
