Hulk Hogan pulled out of a WWE event Saturday night, just weeks after fans booed him on Monday Night Raw.
The real name of 71 year old Terry Bollea, will no longer appear in Saturday night's main event due to 'family commitments', According to reports.
During WWE's Netflix debut earlier this month, Hogan appeared in front of more than 17,000 fans in Los Angeles, primarily to promote his 'Real American Beer' drink.
WWE announced a multi-year partnership with Hogan's beer the day before Raw and the logo was plastered on the ring mat during the show.
However, when Hogan came out to speak to the crowd, it didn't take them long to let him know exactly how they felt.
The Hulkster tried to tell the WWE audience that they were the best tag team partner he ever had. Their response was to boo him out of the building.
Hulk Hogan pulled out of a WWE event on Saturday night, just weeks after being booed
Jimmy Hart waving the American flag did nothing to diminish the boos that were heard.
A DailyMail.com source revealed that Hogan was initially devastated by the negative reaction from the crowd.
They said, 'Hulk thought it was going to be animated? Especially bringing out Jimmy Hart, who everyone likes, and who was also waving an American flag at the time…that's a resounding yes!
'So when he came out, was booed and then went to the back after his promo, he was instantly disappointed that the fans turned on him. But he wasn't p*ssed!
If it hadn't been for him there to promote his beer, he would have leaned in a little more, but he just had to get over promoting it all. But after thinking about it, some good things came out.
'The fact that he got booed, everyone talked about it, and he's been in the wrestling business long enough to know that even a bad reaction goes a long way, because if they're not cheering for you or they didn't boo you then no. They don't care at all.
'This has actually been a great promotion for their beer and as quickly as he was disappointed, he thought about it some more and is really excited about how it turned out. Hulk is a businessman, and he will take advantage of the fan reaction to the bank.”
Hogan, a strong supporter of Donald Trump, was kicked out of WWE in 2015 after a tape emerged of him making racist comments, including using the N-word.
In a video made public by the National Enquirer, Hogan said, “I think we're all a little racist” and used the N-word while referring to his daughter's love life, including her repeating the phrase “F*** N ****** 'several times.
Hogan took the time during his appearance on Fox News earlier this week to plug his new beer brand
According to Radar, the audio features him using a series of racist comments in a tirade about his daughter Brooke, who was trying to launch a music career, to Heather Clem, the wife of a friend.
She reportedly said that “some black billionaire guy” had offered to finance her and then speculate on her sex life.”
Hogan told Clem: 'I don't know if Brooke was fucking the black boy's son… I mean, I don't have double standards.
'I mean, I'm racist, to a certain extent, you fucking N******. But then when it comes to nice people and shit and whatever.
He continued: 'I mean, I'd rather if she was going to fuck around a little bit, I'd rather she married an 8 foot tall n***** worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!
'I guess we're all a bit racist. F***ing n*****.
He was initially kicked out of the WWE Hall of Fame, but has since been allowed back in and has repaired his relationship with the company's power brokers.
Hogan is unable to physically wrestle due to the condition of his body, but was expected to make future appearances handling one of WWE's superstars in a new role.
Hogan was also a celebrity endorser for Donald Trump's recent presidential campaign.
In the 1980s, Hogan was the driving force behind WWE's rise from a regional promotion around New York to an international brand.
He is undoubtedly one of the most popular and successful babyfaces of all time and the catalyst for what made WrestleMania so successful, main eventing eight of the first nine events.
More recently, Hogan became a celebrity endorser for Trump's US presidential campaign, which he went on to win.
Earlier this week, Hogan ripped his sleeves off on Fox News when he went full 'Trumpamania' at the opening night.
