Ian Wright has put two Chelsea stars to release his team in the 1-0 defeat of the blues in the arsenal on Sunday.
Enzo Maresca's men suffered another loss on the road in the Emirates, with Mikel Merino's header in the first half of a corner of Martin Odeegaard delivering the three points to Arsenal.
Wright was working as an expert in the game for Premier League productions, and chose two Chelsea players who should have done it better for the Arsenal winner.
First he launched Christopher Nkunku for not tracking Merino's career for the front post.
“It's a great header, but you look at Nkunku's detail,” said a bewildered Wright.
'The manager has put it there for that specific reason. That has cost them the game. Merino's movement is great, but he can only direct it because Nkunku does not do his job.

Wright also said that Robert Sánchez's poor position prevented him from saving the header
Wright then directed his attention to goalkeeper Robert Sánchez, noting that he was too far from his line and busy focusing on other Arsenal players instead of trying to avoid Merino heading.
'It shouldn't be there. You need to be back in your line. It was strange, “Wright added.

At the other extreme, Chelsea achieved only two shots in the goal in the game and rarely seemed to obtain an equalizer.
Wright admitted that losing Cole Pale for an injury shortly before the game was a blow, but still criticized Chelsea's performance.
“They missed Cole Pale today, they looked very warm without him, (Nicolas) Jackson and (Noni) Madueke,” Wright said.
