The school James Wilson admits that his 'head was turning' after his heart manager surprised him with news of his first call from Scotland.
The Baleno High School student has been appointed in the Steve Clarke squad for the double playground of the Nations League play-off against Greece after hitting six goals for Hearts this season.
The 18-year-old has not even appeared in the Sub-21 Scotland team, and the news delivered by Neil Critchley surprised him by surprise.
When he was asked to summarize his reaction, Wilson told Hearts TV: 'Only surprise. In fact. It is a massive moment. I really didn't expect it, but I'm looking forward to it.
'I learned about the manager. I was playing a little joke with me, telling me that I had bad news and then gave me the news and my head was turning. In training I was only contemplating what was happening.
This time last year, Wilson began on the bench for Sub-19 Scotland.

Motherwell Lennon Miller's midfielder, 18, has also been called.
His club published a teenager video discovering that he was on the team while watching a colleague's mobile phone in the training field.

'I have been working hard to try to play as well as I can for Motherwell, and getting that recognition is brilliant.
'I still need to work hard for Motherwell and keep my place on that team. I will keep my head down and work as hard as I can. “
