Jamie Carragher was forced to leave the study of CBS early on Wednesday night, since he fell ill in the middle of his coverage of the Champions League.
Liverpool's legend was not visibly out of place throughout the show, and was in animated spirits when his old club was bouncing from Europe against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
Carragher attended Anfield to see Arne Slot's side lose in the sanctions to the French giants, but returned to his role in the CBS panel as usual on Wednesday.
He issued his normal opinions before Wednesday's accessories, which included the Arsenal game against PSV and Aston Villa against the Brugge club.
However, the un specified disease was sufficient for Carragher to reduce his duties in the short night.
He was absent from the half -time show, leaving Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and Kate Abdo to cover the remaining procedures.
