Tuesday's defeat against Golden State was the sixth game that Towns has lost this season. New York has 3-3 in its absence.
After being changed to the Knicks from the Minnesota Timberwolves before the 2024-25 campaign, the 27-year-old now averages 24.5 points and 13.4 rebounds per game.
