Justin Baldoni calls on Disney and Marvel to keep receipts, claiming Ryan Reynolds mocked him on screen

Justin Baldoni warns Disney and Marvel to keep all documents related to the various characters Ryan Reynolds starred in Deadpool & Wolverine as he pushes forward with his legal battle… and he focuses on a particular character who he believes was intended to taunt and bully him.

Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedmansent a legal letter to Marvel, which was seen by TMZ Kevin Fig and Disney Bob Igersuggesting that he believes Reynolds openly mocked Baldoni in a scene from the July 2024 release.

In the scene, Reynolds – who plays a character named “Nicepool” – drops the line, “Where in God's name is the intimacy coordinator?!” He also compliments Blake Livelys character Ladypool for “snapping back” after giving birth… and makes a comment about her being a feminist.

Lively recently indicted Baldoni for sexual harassment and shames them for their fat Postpartum body on the set of It Ends With Us. As for the feminist line, Baldoni seems to think it was a dig at him when he promoted himself as a feminist and ally while promoting the film.

The letter asks the studio to “preserve any documents relating to a deliberate attempt to mock, harass, ridicule, intimidate or bully Baldoni through the character of 'Nicepool.'

Reynolds, who has had multiple roles as writer, producer and star of Deadpool & Wolverine, is standing by his wife Blake amid the drama. Baldoni has already dragged Ryan into the mess, claiming he harassed him during a meeting, but Sources close to Ryan have denied these claims.

The letter notes that some of the expected claims could include tortious breach of contract and civil extortion.
