Channel 7 had launched the dice putting the great football Kane Curnes and Dale Thomas together on the setting setters and it seems that love between the couple is not lost.
In the light of the training dispute of this weekend between Craig McRAe and Adam Kingsley, Caroline Wilson took a moment in The Agenda Setters of Channel 7 to reflect on another dispute between two former soccer stars, in Thomas and Cornes.

“There was only one dispute that people were talking in the media last year, we revived some of that.”
The couple has wrapped in multiple disputes with heating in recent years, which led to the Triple M presenter to mark their new Copundit as a “ingenuity” in a function during the low season.
Some had expressed concern about how Curnes and Thomas would fit in channel 7 after the great ship of Port Adelaid jumped from the soccer coverage of Channel 9 last year.

The couple went to their fiery and bitter dispute for the first time publicly and in person, with Caroline Wilson instigating an argument on the matter
It occurred after Cornes claimed that Thomas was 'vague' and worked 'part -time' apparently accusing the expert of channel 7 of copying his opinions.
Wilson played extracts from the cornes spray explosive in Thomas and Tony Shaw during the show.
“I am fed up with some lazy members of the AFL media, I am fed up that the AFL figures have opinions from the bottom of other AFL figures,” Curnes said during an episode of Footy classified in channel 9.
'For the tastes of Daisy Thomas and (former Collingwood coach Tony Shaw, who works part -time and does not have to do much in the air, so that his great opinions this week were something I said 12 months ago in Sen Sa is shameful. However, Thomas remained firm that he was right to shoot in cornes, in the radio program, claiming that Cornes had started the dispute with his comments.

'My thought was that I would say something on a Sunday or a Monday, and then on Wednesday the triple m boys would make fun of everything I had said.
'And I only reached a point where I had had enough. (I thought): “I've had enough of this, I'm going to call it.”
Cornes and Thomas had also changed to Barbs last year after the former Power star said that midfielder Zak Butters was “soft” after Geelong subjected him to an injury to the rib during his defeat by the finals.
Subsequently, Thomas based his analysis of the situation, saying: “If (cornes) was sitting directly in front of me at any stage in front of a microphone or in front of me in the pub, I would tell you that it is the dester thing I have heard for a long time.”
During the low season, Thomas had opened to have to put aside his dispute and work with cornes on Channel 7, but delivered a Spioy response.

Wilson also presented comments he had made in an AFL function where he had used a similar phrase.

Then, the group discussed who had had the highest land in the dispute with Thomas stating: “It's 2-0 Daisy.”
Cornes replied: “Very good, we have a whole year to overcome it and then we will be the judge at the end of the year.”
