- Kane Cornes criticized Richmond Tom Lynch striker during his clash against Carlton
- He arrived after Lynch produced a high shot in the star of Carlton Tom de Koning
The greats of Footy Kane Curnes and Nick Riewoldt have attacked Richmond striker Tom Lynch, after producing a dangerous blow to the star of Carlton, Tom de Koning, on Thursday night.
Lynch could now be prepared for a meeting with the league matches review officer for the reckless shot, with David King of Fox Footy stating that the full advance 'will be nervous' after that blow.
He arrived in his first game since the 15th round last season, since he has only played eight games in the last two seasons due to an injury.
The winners of the wooden spoon last year took out of the blocks against Carlton on Thursday night at the MCG at the time of half of the time, 50-25.
But the main topic of conversation was Lynch's success in De Koning, and Richmond's star seemed to put his shoulder in De Koning's head during the second quarter after the Carlton Ruck had eliminated football.
“I think you have less to worry if I had knocked out, because if I had knocked out, I would have been looking at five to six weeks,” Nick Riewoldt said to channel 7 at the half time in the blow.

Tom Lynch could be in hot water on this blow to Tom de Koning during Richmond's clash against Carlton

Fox's star, David King, said that Lynch could be “nervous” by hitting Carlton's star after having eliminated football
'It's late, he leaves the ground, he's high. This is exactly the type of action we are trying to legislate outside the game. You can see that it gets rid of the ball well and really before Lynch chooses to hit. And I want to say that Tom Lynch is so lucky.
Koning spent some time on the touch line after success, but seemed to be well to continue. Mitch Cleary then confirmed that Ruckman was “authorized by any concern.”
Meanwhile, Cornes was much more critical of Lynch, arguing that the blow was reckless considering that the tigers need Lynch kicking goals.
Cornes: 'Tom Lynch is very lucky. And he has to be better than that. He has played eight games in the last two seasons.
'They need that experience and Harry Armstrong needs that experience. And with the injury problems he has had, he knows you can't do that.
'It's a moment of frustration because Jacob Weitering had his best there. It is not good enough for a club leader.
'It is not surprising that we can be hard with Tom Lynch. We cannot afford to have cerebral fades like that and he disappears. Because when he has played, he is one of the best key strikers in football. '
Weitering had an impressive presentation of the first half in the middle of the return, sweeping the line and breaking the long balls of multiple tigers with five interception marks in the first half.

With Richomond struggling to find the goal, Riewoldt reflected on what Adam Yze could be telling Lynch to part time.
“If I'm Adam Yza, I'm going to Tom Lynch:” Hey, you disappoint us. You will probably miss next week. What if you go out and lead the example and take this second half “?
