Quarterbacks aren't the only ones in the NFL giving generous holiday gifts this holiday season, as Kansas City Chiefs star Justin Reid bought a new car for a local mother of six.
Reid stopped by a local Ford dealership in Kansas dressed as Santa Claus for their second annual 'Just in Time for the Holidays' event. The advertised part of the night was delivering Christmas gifts to more than 50 local children.
Then came Bonnie Strutton's big reveal, a new SUV, with her current car in the shop and one she considers a “gas guzzler,” according to KCTV.
As soon as Reid presented the new car to Strutton, she burst into tears. She only attended the event so her children could participate.
“I don't even know what to say,” Strutton said. “I'm speechless.”
'It's been one thing after another. This is a great blessing. Good things keep happening, you just have to keep doing the right thing.'

Bonnie Strutton was left speechless after the revelation with tears streaming down her face last week.
It's unclear how Reid found out about Strutton and the struggles he has in his life. However, he did not hesitate to take action.
“Just like she's doing the right thing, we wanted to do the next thing and recognize her situation and help her with a new vehicle,” Reid said. 'We are all excited to be a part of Bonnie's story, just to play a small part in it. “We are excited to see her continue on her journey.”
Strutton is also celebrating 30 months of sobriety this holiday season.
The gift-giving took place last week, as Reid is now in Pennsylvania as the Chiefs make last-second preparations for Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Having all my kids back in my life and this right here is going to be a bigger connection than anyone could imagine,” Strutton said. 'Don't give up. Don't give up before the miracle happens because people see you, hear you and love you.'
