Kate Middleton spreads positive holiday cheer with an encouraging message and also mentions “times of joy and sadness” before their annual Christmas carol concert.
The Princess of Wales, who continues to recover from cancer, shared a heartfelt clip on her social media on Tuesday urging everyone to “shine for each other.”
The clip shows various images from the caroling event that Middleton hosts every year, which was recorded at Westminster Abbey earlier this month… with children hanging decorations, playing steel drums and – of course – singing at the top of their lungs.
In the clip, Princess Kate talks about all the inspiring people in the UK who are embracing those in need – and says this is the time of year when everyone needs to shine for each other.
She then mentions, “In times of joy and sadness, we are all each other's light.” Middleton ends her message by wishing everyone and their families a Merry Christmas.
Middleton and her family have certainly felt both joy and sadness this year… because while the Princess is attending more public events, she is still battling cancer.
As you know…Kate announced her diagnosis in a video message in March – after speculation about her whereabouts ran wild.
The rest of the year – that her husband, Prince Williamprobably the most difficult of his life – Kate has slowly returned to public duties… and is doing one Appearance at Trooping the Color in June and Wimbledon in July.
Royal Carols: Together At Christmas – the Christmas carol event – is set to air in the UK in just a few minutes… and will feature Princess Kate, Prince William and their three children – princes George And Louis and princess Charlotte.
