Legendary singer Roberta Flack has died according to an explanation of her representatives.
The R&B singer appeared in the 1970s with her song “The first time I saw your face”, to fame.
Another well -known song of her, “Killing me gently with his song”, was covered by the joints in the 1990s, with Lauryn Hill Scratch on the track.
Flack had numerous other pop and R&B hits with the work with Donny HathawayPresent Leonard CohenAnd Burt Bacharachamong other things.
Her last album was “Let It Be Roberta” from 2012, a collection of Beatles cover.
Flack was born in North Carolina in 1937. Their cause of death was not released. She died on Monday.
In 2018, she had to leave the Apollo Theater stage early during a performance due to illnesses, and her management later revealed that she had suffered a stroke years ago. In 2022, a representative announced that Flack was diagnosed.
