Kylian Mbappé has been criticized by SM Caen fans after the controversial dismissal of his coach Nicolas Seube.
Interconnected Ventures, founded by the Real Madrid star, closed a deal last summer to buy a majority stake in the French second division club through its investment arm, Coalition Capital.
Mbappe reportedly invested €15m (£12.6m) of his own money in the deal.
Caen have had a difficult start to the season and are currently in third place after 10 defeats in 17 Ligue 2 games.
And coach Seube paid the price last Sunday when he was fired by Mbappé after the team's poor run of results.
Caen fans showed their discontent with owner Mbappé through several banners during their match against Clermont Foot on Friday.

According to Sportacaen, just before the start the fans unveiled a banner that said: “Here only work and loyalty make legends.”
The next two banners read: “Before you want to shine internationally, respect local figures,” and “Mbappé, the SMC is not your toy.”
Despite the departure of the popular Seube, new coach Bruno Baltazar was not poorly received, although some fans whistled when his name was announced before kick-off.
He later told reporters: “The fans are the heart of the club. Their reaction is normal. Of course, I would like to enter a project with a different context.
'It is my responsibility to change the situation, recover victories and make the fans proud. It takes a lot of wins to change all that.”
Caen scout David Lasry revealed in a BBC documentary that the club almost signed Mbappé when the striker was just 13 years old.
Mbappé's father had reportedly confirmed that they had agreed for his son to join the club, which is based in Normandy.
The deal, however, fell through when Caen were relegated from Ligue 1 to the second division in 2012.
Instead, Mbappé would join Monaco's academy, with the striker later breaking into the first-team set-up before joining PSG.
