As the wildfires wreak havoc in Los Angeles, a local church is stepping up to provide critical housing and counseling services to help those displaced, TMZ has learned.
pastor Jeremy Johnson of Fearless Church in LA tells TMZ they are opening their doors and providing 150 beds for those in need – plus free hot meals, coffee and shower access to help evacuees get back on their feet.
He also emphasized that they are stocked with essentials such as baby food, pet supplies and water – as well as emotional support services for those in need.
The church – attended by people like Lamar Odom, Klypso, They were vital And Brian Ortega – has a community of around 3,000 members in its LA and San Diego locations.
The community quickly mobilized to collect essentials for those affected by the wildfires.
Jeremy tells us that although no one has sought refuge yet, they are ready and waiting to help – in the hope of spreading the word about the support center they have set up.
