Barcelona will be able to spend money in the January transfer market without restrictions, as confirmed by the club, but Dani Olmo has not yet been registered.
LaLiga has informed the club that it is no longer subject to strict financial intervention after receiving the missing €28m (£23.2m) from one of two investors for VIP seats at the soon-to-be Camp Nou. renovated.
However, Olmo and Pau Víctor remain unregistered. Barcelona president Joan Laporta and other senior figures were seen working in the club's offices into the early hours of Saturday in an attempt to officially add both players to their squad.
But as the standoff continues, they are said to be prepared to take the matter to court. Several reports have claimed that Barcelona are confident of being able to register Olmo and Víctor after finding a creative solution to their off-field headache.
Their attempt to register the duo for the second half of the season was rejected by LaLiga after they failed to prove in time that they had the necessary financial guarantees.
Olmo only joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the summer on a £50m deal and was registered on a temporary deal until the end of 2024. In recent days, the club has pushed to re-register both him and Victor to allow them to play beyond December. 31.

Olmo appears in a training session on Friday, but his future is still unclear.
Barcelona return to action on Saturday against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey and as things stand, Olmo and Víctor will not be able to play.
Olmo is believed to have become a target for several Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Manchester United.
A clause in his contract reportedly means he is now free to leave, but his agent Andy Bara has insisted he will remain loyal to Barcelona. Olmo cannot be loaned and cannot re-sign as a free agent.
“Barcelona is his first and last option,” said Barça.
But Barça also added: “Dani loves to play, not watch them.”
Laporta is said to be determined to present the club's position at a press conference that could take place in the coming days, perhaps as early as Sunday.
But if the case goes to court, the outlook is bleak for Barcelona, as two previous rulings went against them, confirming LaLiga's refusal to register players.
Boss Hansi Flick, for his part, admitted that he was not very happy with the situation.

He has been a key player so far this season, scoring six goals in 15 games.
'It's normal. Honestly, I was not happy with the situation either,” said Flick. 'The players are not happy either, but we have to accept that we are professionals.
“I'm optimistic, but we have to wait for the decision.”
Asked if he had discussed the issue with Laporta, he added: “When I talk to the president it is private and will remain private.”
Olmo has played 15 games to date this season and has scored six goals.
