The Ledisi singer sent wild fans with an impressive performance of 'Lift Every Voice and Sing' at the Super Bowl on Sunday, moments after President Trump arrived at Caesars Superdome.

But Ledisi's powerful performance in New Orleans caused generalized praise on social networks on Sunday night.

Ledisi defended the tears while arguing what the anthem means for her at a press conference on the departure of the Super Bowl, admitting that she is “overwhelmed” in this position.
“I feel that I am aligned with greatness to stop at this time and sing that song,” said the 52 -year -old man. “So that's all I can say, I feel honored.”
After recognizing that he was getting excited, Ledisi revealed that he has been “drowned” since he received the offer to act in the Super Bowl.
'I think I'm drowned all the time, even (from) the phone call. Start there, 'he continued.
'But I am used to this in my career, at times, representing the past and the future and current state of the world, I am used to that pressure.
'I just remember who I am doing. I remember my ancestors, I remember that everyone who expected this moment feels hopeful and feels represented.
'So yes, I drowned. I am drowned all the time. But I have a job to do.
