The Legend of the AFL, Anthony Rocca, has opened the bubbling with his fellow Footy Sav brother to celebrate a great victory in his battle against cancer.
Sav Rocca played for Collingwood and the kangaroos in the AFL, accumulating 748 goals in his career and becoming a member of the Collingwood Hall of Fame.
After withdrawing from AFL, he transition to American football, playing as a bettor for Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins in the NFL.
Anthony also enjoyed an AFL star race, playing 242 AFL games and kicking 415 goals for Collingwood and Sydney.
Now the two brothers have connected in Philadelphia, where Sav played for the Eagles, to share some of the best champagne they have been keeping for a special occasion.
Anthony, whom he was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin lymphoma after experiencing persistent back pain in July 2024, has announced that he is officially in remission.

“Anthony brought me this bottle of Champán Pol Roger when I signed in the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007,” Sav published on Instagram.

Anthony, 47, He moved away from his training role with the Northern Knights in the Victorian competition of U18 throughout the state to focus on treatment in 2024, experiencing six months of chemotherapy.
“I am lucky to be able to say that everything looks very good and that it has been planned,” Rocca wrote at that time.

The determination of the former AFL star to overcome the disease played a key role in his recovery.
